Choose a cattle drinking bowl by its body material, listed size, valve arrangement and water connection. The five models below cover nylon, PE and stainless-steel configurations. A capacity or material match alone does not establish that a bowl fits an existing mounting or water supply.

Two 4 L bowls with different body specifications
ERV-VI-LIV-00028 lists a nylon body, plastic valve and dimensions of 290 × 270 × 120 mm. ERV-VI-LIV-00029 lists a PE body with a SUS304 stainless-steel baffle, a plastic valve and dimensions of 280 × 275 × 125 mm. The baffle material on the second model does not make the whole bowl a stainless-steel body.
Float bowl, oval bowl or round bowl
ERV-VI-LIV-00030 is a 2.5 L stainless-steel float bowl. It lists 1.0 mm sheet thickness, a hinged lid, a nylon float assembly and no drain. Its 26 × 26 × 11 cm dimensions should be checked against the intended position. A stainless-steel grade and water connection are not specified in this entry.
The oval ERV-VI-LIV-00031 and round ERV-VI-LIV-00032 families list SUS304 stainless steel and 1.0 mm sheet thickness. Each offers several size options, a 1/2 inch connection and G1/2 or NPT1/2 thread options. Specify the size and thread option separately; the nominal connection size alone does not identify the required thread.
Connection and mounting checklist
- Identify the existing supply fitting and its thread designation. Request the matching G1/2 or NPT1/2 configuration where listed; do not assume that the options are interchangeable.
- Provide available mounting space, support dimensions and photographs of the intended location.
- Ask for mounting-hole positions, included fixings and the inlet arrangement where they are not listed.
- Provide the site’s water-supply requirements and request the selected valve’s documented pressure and flow specifications. The bowl capacity does not establish a refill rate.
- Confirm the exact valve or float assembly and ask for replacement-part references when spares are needed.
Frequently asked purchasing questions
Does stainless steel always mean SUS304?
No. The oval and round families explicitly list SUS304, whereas the 2.5 L float bowl lists stainless-steel sheet without a grade. Keep the material requirement model-specific in the enquiry.
Does every bowl have a drain?
No. ERV-VI-LIV-00030 explicitly lists no drain. The other selected entries do not establish drain arrangements; request confirmation rather than inferring one from the shape.
Can capacity determine how many cattle a bowl serves?
This comparison does not establish that relationship. It provides equipment specifications and leaves supply and installation suitability for confirmation.
